A Boy Beside a Girl Stacking Stones on a White Table

Serving the Children of the World

Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance. Today, we stand with more than 550,000 members and complete over 150,000 service projects each year.

Kiwanis was chartered January 21, 1915.

Kids At The Doctor's
Kid in School

The fund provides grants to help Kiwanians change kids’ lives — in clubs’ communities and a world away. Prenatal care and vaccines to protect moms and newborns from tetanus. Safe places to play and learn. Access to nutrient-rich food to boost brain development. Books for preschoolers to encourage a love of reading. Opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills. And so much more.

Downtown Scottsdale Young Professionals

The club was originally chartered June 13, 2007. We are a dynamic club of young professionals and are incredibly unique in the Kiwanis community. Commonly most Kiwanians are retired or retiring soon, whereas DSYP is comprised of younger individuals who work in various fields of work. We are not only family centered with those we aid in the community but also with our own DSYP family. Several of the members have young children and we are sensitive to the time commitment family and careers take. Since 2020, we found that hosting our meetings online have been more convenient and have continued to use this platform. It is our hope to spread the word and purpose of Kiwanis and to recruit more like minded and caring individuals to join our cause. The most outstanding part of Kiwanis International, is that we are able to adapt to our community needs and assist other groups that need our assistance. If you are part of another organization that could benefit from our involvement, we would like to know about it! If you are interested in more information please see here to find our next online meeting and see what we are all about.

We look forward to hearing from you!
